After your initial contact, we’ll set up a no obligation Discovery Call. This is a relaxed conversation where we get to know each other and talk about the tasks that you would benefit from having taken off your hands.
After the Discovery Call, if we’ve decided we’re a good fit for each other, I’ll send over your contract and initial invoice (based on the retainer package you choose).
Once the contract is signed and the first invoice paid I can make a start on your first month’s tasks straight away. You get to feel the relief of knowing that all those undone items on your to-do-list are now in safe hands.

The government Access to Work scheme is funding, available to full time, part time and self employed persons, to “help you get or stay in work if you have a physical or mental health condition or disability.” You could qualify if you have ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia or any other disability or mental health condition.
N.B. You do not need a diagnosis to apply.
The grant can be used to fund a range of support including a support worker (such as a virtual assistant) to support you with tasks which are particularly impacted for you. What I can help with
Access to work applications - supporting you to complete your application and capture effectively your challenges and the support that will help your most.
Being your support worker - I can complete the tasks funded by your grant and work with you on an ongoing basis building a trusting relationship that supports you and your business.
Access to work claims - I can support with completing the forms that you will need to submit to claim your grant.

The better question might be: can you afford not to?
Think about what your time is actually worth. The hours you're spending on admin could be spent on billable work, business development, or simply having a life outside your business.
I'm faster at admin tasks than you are because it's what I do all day, every day. You also won't have the overhead costs of hiring an employee—no office space, insurance, National Insurance contributions, sick pay, or holiday pay to worry about.
Even a few hours of support each week can be the difference between keeping up and falling behind. If you're turning down work or missing opportunities because you're buried in tasks, that's costing you money too. -
If I’m ever unwell or taking planned holiday, I will make sure that you are kept fully informed.
Most illnesses only take a few days to recover from. I will let you know as soon as possible that I am taking some time to look after my health and when I expect to be back. I build buffer time into my schedule, so most work can be caught up quickly once I am back at my desk. .
For anything longer, I’ll update you promptly and outline what can be paused, what can continue, and any deadlines that may need adjusting. In the unlikely event that I am out of action for an extended period, I can arrange for an Associate VA to complete some essential work during my absence.
Holiday leave will be communicated in advance and we will plan together for your hours to be delivered around my holiday dates.
My goal is always to minimise disruption and communicate clearly, so you’re never left wondering what’s happening with your work.

I usually use email for contact but fully understand that written communication can be challenging or inconvenient for some people.
If you would prefer verbal communication then we can use Google Chat (a simple app which you can download onto your phone) to send each other voice notes, messages, updates and to share links.
