Neurodiversity and Disability Support
Running a business is easier when the support around you fits the way you think and work.
I specialise in working with neurodivergent business owners and those living with a disability, chronic health condition or mental health needs (with or without a diagnosis).
You don’t need to come already knowing exactly what you need.
We can talk about the barriers that affect you and work together to find solutions that work for you.
Below, you’ll find some of the ways I can adapt my support to suit you.
How we can work together
Access to Work
You may be eligible for an Access to Work Grant if you are employed or self-employed (or are about to start or return to paid work).
You must have a disability, illness or health condition that means you need support to do your job (including Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia and mental health conditions).
You do not need a diagnosis to apply.
What I can help with
Completing Access to Work applications (including reconsiderations and renewals).
Helping you to put your needs and barriers into words.
Sourcing quotes for equipment or services.
Providing a quote and proposal for using my services as your support assistant.
Completing claim forms.
Completing Support Worker Record of Tasks forms and providing timesheets

Body Doubling
Body doubling is having another person with you while you work.
The presence of the other person helps you to maintain your focus and get things done.
Who uses body doubling?
Popular with neurodivergent people
Useful for anyone who works better when another person is with them (even if they are doing different things!)
People who work alone or from home.
Why choose body doubling?
Reduces the time needed to get started or mentally build up to a task.
Helps you to avoid distractions
Helps you to stick with a task and be more productive.
Reduces the feeling of overwhelm that facing something alone can bring
How does a session work
Book a regular time for your session
We both connect to a Google Meet and work on our own tasks.
I am there if you want to talk but can be silent if that suits you better.
As we are working on our own tasks during the session I offer a lower hourly rate to reflect this:
£10 per half hour or £20 per hour
Accountability Calls
These are online check-ins to help you to plan and review your tasks for the week/day and stay on track.
I provide a sounding board for you to:
talk through what you want to achieve
decide what to prioritise
identify the small steps that help you get started.
work through an issue
You will end the call with a clear plan.
Accountability Check in options
Daily Check-In
A 15 min call per day to review tasks to be done and check in on the previous day’s actions.
Good for business owners who prefer a ‘little and often’ approach to staying on track.
Weekly focus
A focussed hour to talk through the week ahead and review the previous weeks actions.
Perfect for business owners who can’t dedicate daily time but appreciate the chance to reflect in more depth
General support
The main focus of my work as a Virtual Assistant is to simplify your day and reduce the overwhelm and cognitive load that you experience as a business owner.
I can do this through:
Executive function support
Task initiation and prioritisation
Inbox triage and decluttering (that chaotic inbox doesn’t scare me!)
Daily email summaries and flagging messages that actually need your attention
Diary management and scheduling - avoiding double bookings, making best use of your time, sending reminders, leaving gaps so you can eat!
Daily/weekly to-do-list reminders and updates
Deadline tracking and support to stay on track
Support with written communications to ensure appropriate tone
Proofreading for accuracy
Notes or recordings to documents.
Reassurance and encouragement - I’m on your side (but also not afraid to tell you in the right way when something needs to get done).
Life admin - arranging that birthday gift, booking tickets for a show, reservation for dinner, booking travel. If it helps make your life a little easier then I’m probably going to say yes (within reason!)
